1. Can you arrange a transfer from Heraklion Airport to the hotel and back?
We would be pleased to arrange for a driver with a Mercedes E-Class to meet you at Heraklion International Airport with name card and bring you to the hotel. Each car can take a maximum of 3 people in order to allow sufficient space for luggage. Your precise flight details are required in order to make the necessary arrangements.
2. How to reach your hotel coming from Heraklion airport by car?
Get on to the National Road in the direction of Agios Nikolaos, going away from the city of Heraklion. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kms passing the towns of "Malia" and "Neapoli". On approaching the town of Agios Nikolaos you will come to a set of traffic lights: turn left at the traffic lights following the signs posted to "Elounda". At approximately 50m you come to another set of traffic lights, turn right again and you are on the road to Elounda.
3. Can we rent a car from your hotel?
A car rental desk is located on the hotel’s premises. This may be arranged prior to or during your stay.
1. How far is the nearest town?
The Hotel is approximately 10 km away from the town of Aghios Nicholaos and 1.5 km from the village of Elounda. The hotel is also approximately 5 km away from Plaka and the historic island of Spinalonga, the setting for Victoria Hislop`s best selling novel `The Island`.

Boat trip to Spinalonga
Enjoy a ‘kaiki’ boat trip to the historic island of Spinalonga, the setting for Victoria Hislop`s best selling novel `The Island`, ffollowed by a swim in the clear waters of Kolokytha Island. Variety of fresh fruits and water are served on board.
The Palace of Knossos
Discover the famous Palace of the legendary King Minos with its labyrinth of over 1,300 rooms. As the legend has it, it was in this ancient palace, with its innumerable corridors and colonnades, that the story of the mighty Minotaur, the half man-half bull son of King Minos, took place. Unfortunately, an awesome earthquake off the coast of the island of Santorini destroyed most of this magnificent royal residence.
CretAquarium Thalassocosmos
The aquarium in Crete is situated in the place now called Thalassocosmos and it is a meeting point where science, discovery and recreation take place. Since the opening of the aquarium in December 2005, there have been more than 100,000 visitors. Up to four thousand marine organisms were introduced into the aquarium where they will spend their lives within specially designed and constructed tanks containing 1.6 million liters of seawater, and visible to the public through 300 m2 of glass or transparent acrylic materials. Some very small organisms, such as phytoplankton, zooplankton, eggs, larvae, are visible by means of gigantic screens that the visitor can manipulate without difficulty. There are coffee shops at both the entrance and exit of the aquarium.
Lassithi Plateau
We invite you to marvel at the beauty of Lassithi. This fertile plateau is nestled amongst majestic mountains, and the drive takes you through the quaint traditional Cretan villages surrounding the plateau. The trip will be topped off with a visit to the famous Dikti Caves where, according to ancient Greek mythology, Zeus, the King of Gods, was born. Once inside these spectacular caverns, you will marvel at the enormous stalactites and stalagmites that have been preserved there for centuries.
Daily cruises around the local coastline may also be arranged with our Motor Yacht, Sailing Boat or Catamaran.
1. What are the facilities available for Children?
The hotel offers a daily, supervised Children`s Program, which is offered on a complimentary basis. Baby cots are offered free of charge. A babysitting service is also available at an hourly charge. Additional children’s facilities: playground, kids menus, baby phones, buggies, baby chairs, baby seats.
The hotel`s two private, sandy beaches lead gradually into the sea, which is protected by Kolokytha opposite, providing an ideal environment for our younger guests to enjoy the beach safely.
1. Do you have tennis courts in the hotel?
Five floodlit Tennis Courts are available in the hotel. Three clay courts and two artificial grass. Equipment is provided and a tennis coach is available.
2. Is there a Golf Course near your hotel?
The Crete Golf Club is home to the first 18-hole golf course on the island of Crete. Built in an exciting desert style design, each hole has been individually sculptured to blend into the existing landscape and offers a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience. Located an approximate 40 minute drive from our resort and our guests receive privileged rates.
